The two recordings today are different for a couple reasons:

1. The 11:00 was made with the microphone in front on the director's podium, but right 
   next to both the piano and the marimba, while also being behind a music stand. 
   Definitely not an ideal situation. For the 12:00 service I moved the microphone to 
   location "B" which is to the choir's right on the Youngdahl Chapel's wall. This 
   usually results in slightly better balance when we have special instrumental 
   accompaniment in the well but at the risk of losing voice balance as the microphone
   is right next to the soprano section. You can't win them all and actually, neither
   position is even close to ideal. But the recordings are what they are.

2. Our performance was better on one of the services. I'll leave you to determine which.
